Market values South Korea: Iljutcenko at the top - Sang-bin Jeong makes biggest jump
Transfermarkt has updated the market values of the South Korean K League 1. The latest update has caused significant movement among the most valuable players. Stanislav Iljutcenko is now the most valuable player in South Korea.
After a strong season, the striker moved from Pohang Steelers to current champions Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, there the 30-year-old striker and with nine goals and four assists has been the top scorer in the league. A market value increase from €800,000 to €2 million is the second-biggest jump in the league—only Suwon talent Sang-bin Jeong (+€825,000 to €900,000) made a bigger jump in this update.
Iljutcenko is now ahead of his teammate Modou Barrow, whose market value increased by €100,000 to €1.7 million. Georgian forward Valeri Qazaishvili (€100,000 to €1.6m) is next ahead of Min-kyu Song (+€700,000), Hyun-woo Jo (+€300,000) and Bit-garam Yoon (+€300,000) and Brazilian Gustavo whose market values are €1.5 million.
