José Enrique zu Sunderland?

STEVE BRUCE plans to raid North East neighbours Newcastle in January for left-back Jose Enrique.
The Sunderland chief has been impressed with the 23-year-old's steady performances for the Magpies this term.
And he believes the Spaniard has now adapted to the English game well enough to be a force in the Premier League with his Black Cats.
Enrique struggled when he first arrived from Villarreal as a 20-year-old in a £6.3million deal during Sam Allardyce's time as Newcastle boss.
But Big Sam always insisted the defender would take time to get used to the pace of the English game.
And his prediction has proved right with the former Spain Under-21 player showing real quality for the Championship leaders.

Durchaus möglich.
Sunderland hat nur George McCartney als gelernten left back, sein Backup ist Kieran Richardson, der allerdings auf der offensiven Außenbahn zu Hause ist. Ein wenig Konkurrenz für McCartney wäre da sicherlich kein Fehler, zumal auch Sunderlands Mittelfeld nicht so breit besetzt ist, dass man Richardson dauerhaft als left back einsetzen sollte.
Wäre also kein schlechter Deal, zumal José Enrique als Backup allemal gut genug wäre. Wenn er McCartney verdrängen würde, wäre es sicherlich auch nicht schlecht, aber mehr als solide sind ohnehin beide nicht.

Wäre genial! Der Junge hats drauf, ist noch relativ jung und Sunderland braucht noch Personal für links hinten. Wie Heffer-Tonne schon sagte kann dann Richardson wieder nach vorne, wo sowieso schon fast Personalnot herrscht.

So toll ist der Enrique nicht, Sunderland sollte sich nach jemandem umgucken, der den Verein auch tatsächlich nach vorne bringt.

Überhaupt erst mal Konkurrenz auf der Position zu haben, wäre auch schon mal was. Manchmal müssen eben auch Transfers für die Kaderbreite getätigt werden. Wobei man auch da wahrscheinlich nicht unbedingt beim geliebten Nachbarn wildern müsste...
