Der FC Everton wartet auf ein drittes Angebot von Manchester City für Joleon Lescott. Der wechselwillige Verteidiger trainiert derzeit abseits der Mannschaft, nachdem er am Wochenende beim 1:6 gegen Arsenal eine lustlose Vorstellung abgeliefert hat. Es wird gemutmaßt, dass der Verein aus Liverpool sich mit einer Ablösesumme von 25 Millionen Euro zufrieden geben würde. In diesem Zusammenhang wird auch mit einer Rückkehr von Richard Dunne zum FC Everton spekuliert - möglicherweise wird der Ire mit in den Transfer verrechnet.
